Have you ever had pasta stirred around a wheel of melted cheese? We did, last night – and it was delicious.
Pasta ‘n’ Goulash is a pop up at The Plot Twist, specialising in the Italian/Hungarian hybrid. Their speciality is goulash soup (served in a bread bowl) and cheesy pasta. The pasta is mixed in a giant wheel of melted cheese: exactly what you need for a mid-week boost.
The spaghetti carbonara was fabulous, cheesy without being too creamy. Our only complaint would be that perhaps the cheese wheel was not warm enough – the pasta was getting cold very quickly.
The goulash was hearty and everything we needed after a long Monday – the bread was fresh and crusty, and was perfect for dipping.
