The Post Election Pick-Me-Up

After a gruelling election, American politics is at the most divisive it’s been in decades. To show our friends across the pond a little love, we visited Islington’s stars and stripes hotspot The Diner.

The Milkshakes

These were just excellent. Dessert in a cup. Everything you’ve ever wanted your milkshake to be: creamy, flavoursome and filling.

The Burgers

This burger was £6.50 and we can’t believe what an unbelievable deal it was! Quality meat absolutely covered in Monterey Jack cheese.

The Chilli Fries

These very yummy and very decadent, but our criticism would be that they were a little soggy!

The Burritos

The veggie burrito was brilliant, and packed full of so many ingredients it barely stayed together (bonus points), but it was a little expensive at £8.95…

The Mac ‘n’ Cheese

This dish isn’t for the faint hearted! It’s rich and it’s delicious, but only go for it if you’re seriously craving cheese. Add jalapeños for an added kick.
